Organization efforts and a recipe request

Remember this bare wall in our former office that we're transforming into my craft cave?

What a waste of a perfectly awkward sloped wall, right? Ugh. We stopped by Joanns during their mega sale Columbus weekend and a purpose for this wall was born. Yup. Wham BAM. Right there in the middle of Joanns. Thank you, ma'am! It took some tweaking to get it just right but we finished (yeah we actually finished something) the project on Sunday and I'm dying to share some after photos with you...except I haven't taken them yet and I have to work tomorrow.

Want to see how much stuff two people can cram inside one kitchen pantry?  Well that's coming soon too.

I'll even show you my attempt to reorganize it all and the celebratory crock pot I bought myself as a bribe to continue my organization efforts. Do I know how to party it up or what?

Please send us your favorite slow cooker recipes!  I'll happily feature any recipes you send that we try and give credit to all you culinary geniuses.  :)  Melissa, I misplaced your slow cooker recipes again.  So far, we've used the crockpot to make a simple beef pot roast and a pork dish that I made up.  We don't know what else to do now so please don't assume that we already have a recipe that's a 'no brainer' to you.  :)

I've got two vacation days from work coming up and I know how I'm gonna use 'em.  See you later!

I don't really use slow cooker much. But I use to experiement by basically just throwing stuff in... like one time I put in chicken breasts and salsa and some chopped green chiles and served with rice. Oh and taco seasoning on the chicken.

Yup, you're the Melissa I meant. You had slow cooker recipes that involved getting up really early and packets of soup (I think). :)
