One Month Strong

Hi!

Today marks Welcome Sunshine Home's one month blogging anniversary.  I can't believe it has been that long already!

We attended the Maine Home and Design Midcoast Show in Camden on Saturday.  We'll be sharing our experience later this week.  Isn't Jake a good sport?

My recycled gift tag is being featured by Stephanie Lynn at Under the Table and Dreaming!  :)  Now there's some inspiration to keep going.

I'm off to bake now.  Yup, that's right.  1) I'm baking (sort of).  2) I'm baking on a Monday night.  My department's management team is preparing a nice homemade breakfast for Employee Appreciation Week tomorrow morning.  It's a Paula Deen recipe so it's sure to have lots of butter but should taste great.  More on that later this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Congrats on your blogging anniversary, how awesome! :o) I see you are making a Paula Deen recipe, I love Paula Deen & butter makes any recipe better.

I am looking at the picture of your schnauzer and he looks EXACTLY like my schnauzer Livie. What a cutie he is. Hope you have a great day!

Congratulations on one month of blogging! I recently celebrated one year!

I am guessing you have a house from 1892? We bought one build in 1910 7 years ago and had to completely gut it. We have just about finally finished it up and we are getting ready to move this week!

Nice to meet you! I found you from a comment you left on another blog. :)

Hi! Some people were scraping the bottom of the empty pans to get more so I'm calling it a success! I'll have the recipe up soon.

We're probably going overboard this week but everybody works so hard and really deserves it. We'll have a BBQ and two wii bowling setups going tomorrow. We did mini golf yesterday and I was awful. I kept tripping over the 'hazards' and what not and made a fool of myself. So, you know, typical day in the life. :)

I have a dinner at Five Fifty Five (Congress St) with IT tonight. http://fivefifty-five.com/ I don't know what to order so text me if you see this before 6! :)

Yup, we think our house was built in 1892. The city defaults it's age to 1800 in our tax records but you can tell it's not that old by looking at the exposed joists in the attic and basement. After sorting through the property transfer records we found it went from 'land' to 'land with building' in 1892.

We took a gamble and were very lucky that this hasn't been a gut job. We've reversed 10+ years of damage from smoking and general neglect.

Congratulations on moving in! :)

So, what do you think? Don't be shy...we're all friends here. :) We love hearing from you and read every note you leave us!
