Jake and I have met lots of fun and interesting people through the blog parties the past few weekends.  I'm linking up to another one of Trendy Treehouse's parties and Southern Reflection's new Meet and Greet party today to see what they're all about.  If you're stopping by from TT or SR today, welcome to our sunny patch of blog land! 

My humble can lid gift tags are being featured by blogs that I've been following and have admired for quite awhile.  How cool is that?  The truth is that I almost chickened out on posting them in the first place because they're so simple.  Thank you, Stephanie and Kaysi!  :)

We'll be sharing our Maine Home and Design Midcoast Show experience, Rainy Day Smores recipe, and another easy paper craft soon.  We had planned to stay home this weekend to clean, finish some house projects, do yard work, etc, etc.  Instead, we went on another last minute adventure with the pups.  We don't get a lot of warm days in Maine so we like to make the most of them.  Some day we'll get back to our in progress DIY house projects.  Really.

One Month Strong

Hi!

Today marks Welcome Sunshine Home's one month blogging anniversary.  I can't believe it has been that long already!

We attended the Maine Home and Design Midcoast Show in Camden on Saturday.  We'll be sharing our experience later this week.  Isn't Jake a good sport?

My recycled gift tag is being featured by Stephanie Lynn at Under the Table and Dreaming!  :)  Now there's some inspiration to keep going. 

I'm off to bake now.  Yup, that's right.  1) I'm baking (sort of).  2) I'm baking on a Monday night.  My department's management team is preparing a nice homemade breakfast for Employee Appreciation Week tomorrow morning.  It's a Paula Deen recipe so it's sure to have lots of butter but should taste great.  More on that later this week.
